Although a construction site is not exactly a ballroom, you should still be polite and respectful to the people who work there. Greet everyone so they can hear it; apologize for missing an appointment, make all your requirements sound like requests, and address the people you talk to by name if possible. Do not get loud, angry, or schoolmasterly, and never criticize anyone in front of her/his employees
